my partner and i have very fine hair and it's getting thinner as we age. we need a perm for body and fullness as often as possible. When my perm is half grown out, my hair falls pretty flat and is hard to manage. however perming too soon with acid-type perms have been damaging for me. my partner and i finally suffered through letting it grow out completely, went and got a gentle perm (which was expensive) and found it getting hard to manage inside a few months. my partner and i needed another perm however was afraid to have one so soon. So subsequent to researching online for something that could work for me, my partner and i chose this perm, ISO Option 1, and can't believe how beautifully it worked.
Rolling it myself is time consuming, nevertheless we actually enjoy it and get exactly what my partner and i want. we just have to set aside enough time to do it and make sure to rinse thoroughly for a fantastic 5 minutes (an important step for a fantastic result) each time.
